Main Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Control the functions of equipment, start/stop of the equipment, follow lockout procedures as required, meet, or exceed the part per minute standards that have been set for each piece of equipment or product line.

Conduct and record hourly quality inspections on finished goods.

Scan, record, inspect and manage raw materials and finished goods that are produced through the equipment.

Troubleshoot production interruptions that may take place during the normal course of the production shift and record uptime and downtime.

Follow and adhere to daily production schedules and targets.

Work with maintenance personnel and supervision to maximize uptime on the equipment or lines to meet customer expectations regarding on-time service.

Maintain a logbook for daily production and downtime events.

Follow all company procedures regarding GMP’s and sanitation requirements.

Able to do change over on all lines.

Understand and fix bag issues on lines
-
Assign and work with packers on lines.

Understand how to do PMV if raw materials are in Warehouse location
-
Understand and know how to fill partial pallet physically and in QAD
-
Pack as needed.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
-
Previous industrial work experience is preferred.

Ability to read rulers, micrometers (US and Metric) & digital metering equipment is preferred.

Experience working as a machine operator in a production environment, troubleshooting and meeting schedule demands is highly preferred.

Ability to lift 50lbs.

Computer experience.

Excellent attendance is required.
