As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha or Micros POS systems.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling techniques to enhance guest experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of service.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area according to sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest inquiries effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Culinary experience or kitchen experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
