Shift: 5:50 AM – 2:10 PM

Guardsman Global is seeking a motivated and hands-on Line Lead to oversee daily production line operations on 1st shift. This position plays a critical leadership role in ensuring production targets, quality standards, safety expectations, and operational efficiency are consistently achieved.
The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, mechanically inclined, and capable of leading a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual will help drive production performance while creating a positive and accountable work environment.
Responsibilities
Production Oversight & Efficiency
- Arrive before shift start to ensure equipment and materials are prepared for production
- Communicate daily production goals clearly to team members
- Monitor production performance and make real-time adjustments to meet targets
- Complete daily batch records and production paperwork accurately
- Support continuous production flow and minimize downtime
Equipment Operation & Troubleshooting
- Develop strong understanding of production equipment and line operations
- Troubleshoot common production line issues and support operational efficiency
- Work closely with Maintenance and Production teams to resolve equipment concerns
- Assist with preventative maintenance efforts and machine readiness
Quality & Safety
- Ensure products meet company and customer quality standards
- Maintain accurate quality documentation and production records
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area
Leadership & Team Support
- Lead and motivate production employees to achieve operational goals
- Train and coach team members on production procedures and safety practices
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and positive communication
- Ensure smooth shift transition and line readiness for incoming teams
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing leadership or Line Lead experience preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and work around production equipment throughout the shift
- Forklift experience is a plus
