We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join the Office Staff at Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC – Railroad Division in Ironton, OH.

Essential Duties
-
Maintain and support all office functions ensuring facility paper flow and documentation is complete and accurate.

Capable of keeping confidential information private. Will handle inquiries, work requests, and at times employee personnel information.

Manage incoming/outgoing calls, sort and distribute incoming mail, email, phone messages, packages, and faxes.

All calls must be answered, directed, and messages distributed in a professional manner.

Perform administrative duties for region management team; including but not limited to typing documents, assembling project binders, data entry, photocopying, mailing, scanning, faxing, etc.

Reacts to change productively and is capable of meeting short deadlines.

Maintain a professional work area. (Front desk and waiting area)

Assignments, projects, and daily work will be carried out in accordance with the instructions that are established through office practices, procedures, and precedents.

Provides support and assistance to help the facility and personnel function in a team environment.

Performs other duties as assigned by Regional Office Manager.
Minimum Requirements
-
Endurance necessary to perform duties throughout a standard 40-hour work week
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
-
Ability to learn new computer platforms for tracking, invoicing, and other responsibilities.

Able to pay close attention to details and identify/correct mistakes
-
Manages time effectively and is able to work in a fast-paced environment

Must possess good planning, analysis, and organizational skills

Excellent skills interacting with other staff members, outside representatives, and customers

Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work

High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative position

Must be able to enter and exit a vehicle numerous times a day.

Must be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments, i.e., rain, heat, sun, cold.

Must be able to lift, move and maneuver up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis, and up to 10 pounds on a frequent basis.
