Position Overview:
Lafayette Club is hiring Banquet Bartenders to join our Food & Beverage Team. We are seeking friendly, motivated, and service-oriented individuals who enjoy creating exceptional guest experiences and take pride in delivering outstanding hospitality. This important role supports all aspects of banquet bar service, including event setup and breakdown, beverage preparation and service, bar organization and maintenance, and ensuring members and guests receive attentive, professional service throughout their event experience.
Whether serving signature cocktails at an elegant wedding reception, beverages at a member celebration, or refreshments during a corporate gathering, Banquet Bartenders play an essential role in executing seamless events from start to finish. Through attention to detail, beverage expertise, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence, they help create a welcoming atmosphere and memorable experiences that reflect Lafayette Club's tradition of exceptional service.
Schedule & Duration:
This is a part-time, hourly position. Flexible hours with a focus on member service during peak season.
Compensation:
Includes an hourly rate and discretionary distribution of gratuities, in accordance with company policy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Be punctual and in full, clean and neat uniform.

Mix and serve alcoholic beverages and non-alcoholic beverages.

Responsible for maintaining bar in a clean and orderly fashion.

Responsible for ensuring that all liquor, beer and wine is stocked according to lists and/or event orders.

Prepare drinks for servers as needed.

Should posses Club knowledge, such as Board members, member information, and history of the Club.

Ability to be flexible with the changing needs of the banquet business.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.

The ability read, write and execute basic math skills.

Prior banquet or wait service experience is preferred

Licenses and Special Requirements

Food Safety certification.

Of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.

Possess safe alcohol beverage certification.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Must be able to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, twist and reach.

Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to perform continuous repetitive motions.

Must be able to work in hot, humid, and noisy environments.
