A leading manufacturer is seeking a Supervisor, Engineering to lead our manufacturing engineering team and drive process excellence on the plant floor. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of people management, process improvement, and equipment development.
About the Role
The Supervisor of Manufacturing Engineering oversees the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to ensure product functionality and cost efficiency. You'll lead and direct a team of manufacturing and project engineers, ensure engineering works cohesively with other manufacturing departments, and drive the development of equipment that supports the production process.
What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day engineering operations for the plant
- Recommend and lead capital and/or process improvements
- Support daily production on the shop floor — improving process control, reducing cycle times, and cutting waste
- Establish and own the most effective manufacturing processes and critical process parameters to ensure quality and yield
- Drive installation of new equipment and upgrades through optimization for on-time completion
- Manage quoting, coordination, scheduling, and implementation of engineering changes within budget and timeline
- Develop and implement project schedules and plans
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of related experience in a high-volume production environment
- 5+ years of management/supervisory experience required
- Lean Manufacturing / Toyota Production System experience preferred
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills, initiative, and the ability to work well across teams

- Occasional travel required (up to 5%)
Pay: $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
