Executive Director / Hospice Administrator

An established, Medicare-certified hospice serving Northwest Louisiana is seeking an experienced Executive Director/Hospice Administrator to lead our organization through its next phase of growth.

Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership for daily hospice operations.
- Lead, mentor, and support an interdisciplinary team.
- Promote a culture of accountability, compassion, and service excellence.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards.
- Partner with clinical leadership to achieve quality and operational goals.
- Monitor agency performance, census growth, staffing, and financial outcomes.
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other referral partners.
- Foster a positive workplace culture focused on employee engagement and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Must have some hospice experience.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive healthcare leadership or executive management experience.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Experience overseeing healthcare operations and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while fostering a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
- Experience with budgeting, strategic planning, and operational performance is preferred.
- Hospice leadership experience is preferred; however, experienced healthcare leaders from home health, hospitals, long-term care, physician practices, assisted living, or other healthcare settings are encouraged to apply.
