Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry and construction tasks, demonstrating proficiency with both hand and power tools. This position involves working on diverse projects, including residential and commercial builds, renovations, and restorations. The Carpenter/Laborer will be responsible for executing tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.
Duties
- Perform frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and cabinet installation as required by project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various construction activities including but not limited framing, siding, roofing, and interior trim carpentry
- Carry out fixture installations, door hanging, caulking, and siding work.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
Experience
- Proven experience in the construction industry with a focus on carpentry is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus.
- Experience with woodworking, heavy lifting, assembly, plumbing, electrical work, remodeling, tile laying, and fabrication will be beneficial.
- Previous exposure to the restoration industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting while also being self-motivated when required. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to various job site conditions while delivering quality craftsmanship in every task performed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
