Sherman Engineering is seeking a full-time Project Engineer to support field sales and manufacturing through project management, product design and development, and process improvement. This role works closely with Sales Engineers, Project Managers, Technicians, and our customers to deliver high-quality engineered solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support sales with equipment sizing, selection, quotes, and customer project needs.
- Manage sales orders, submittals, schedules, procurement, project documentation, and closeout.
- Perform project engineering tasks such as sizing calculations, equipment specifications, and load verification.
- Develop and maintain drawings, product documentation, and technical libraries using AutoCAD and related software.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and manufacturing teams on product improvements and new product development.
Qualifications:
- BSME, BSCE, or related Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD required; experience with 3D CAD, Revit, rotating equipment, or electrical controls is preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work cross- functionally with Sales, Manufacturing, Service, and Engineering teams. Improve internal processes, in-house applications, product builder tools, and engineering reporting structures.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
