Responsibilities
- Perform residential handyman repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance
- Diagnose and complete plumbing (basic), carpentry, drywall, painting, door, trim, and general home repairs
- Troubleshoot problems and recommend the best repair solution
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and explain repairs clearly
- Document work with photos and notes using our mobile app
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked company vehicle
- Follow company safety standards and deliver high-quality workmanship on every job
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of handyman, apartment maintenance, or residential maintenance
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review
- Must own a basic set of professional hand tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile apps to document work
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work safely on ladders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with appliance repair
- Experience using Jobber, ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or similar field service software
