Job Summary
Chicken Ranchero is looking for an ambitious Assistant General Manager who wants to grow into a General Manager role as the company expands.
This position is ideal for someone with restaurant management experience who enjoys leading teams, driving results, and building a strong culture. The Assistant General Manager will work directly with ownership to help launch and grow a new restaurant concept focused on quality food, speed, hospitality, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily restaurant operations• Hire, train, and develop team members• Ensure excellent customer service• Manage labor and food cost goals• Assist with scheduling and shift management• Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards• Support inventory and ordering processes• Help drive sales and profitability• Lead by example and create a positive culture
Qualifications
- 2+ years of restaurant management experience preferred• Experience in quick service, drive-thru, fast casual, or high-volume restaurants• Strong leadership and communication skills• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred• Reliable and highly accountable• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
