Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a small-town bar environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, cooking and serving bar food and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. (Must be 21 years of age to apply.)
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and bar food according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about the drink menu.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash and credit card payments efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, communicating needs to management as necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while serving food and drinks.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending or within the food industry is desirable but not neccassary.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality to create memorable experiences for guests.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when needed.
