Job Summary
Lead and manage the branch parts department to support both external and internal customers while maximizing customer satisfaction and gross profit. Parts manager is also responsible for execution of process discipline required to maintain an optimized inventory.
Duties
- Drive profitable parts growth through disciplined management of revenue, margins, expenses, overtime, and freight recovery.
- Enforce pricing, discount, and margin guardrails; document and escalate exceptions to the General Manager and Sales & Pricing as required.
- Lead and develop the parts team through hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Foster a customer-focused culture by modeling and enforcing consistent counter standards, follow-up, and professional service behaviors.
- Resolve customer and internal escalations, ensuring timely follow-up, accurate communication, and proper documentation in compliance with SOPs.
- Partner daily with service leadership to manage parts constraints, hot repair orders, backorders, staging, and technician wait time.
- Oversee repair order accuracy to reduce missed parts-to-labor capture, billing errors, and documentation gaps.
- Manage inventory, cycle counts, returns, cores, credits, purchase orders, adjustments, and bin discipline.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial administration, including invoice coding, month-end requirements, and management of open customer orders and invoices.
- Maintain safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards across the parts department.
- Execute company standards locally while escalating recurring issues, authority exceptions, and systemic risks through proper channels.
- Maintain a consistent daily and weekly operating cadence focused on service execution, inventory control, escalation follow-up, and team coaching.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
