EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

DUTIESReview and provide feedback on plans including but not limited to, site, civil engineering, plats, permit, landscaping, tree preservation, capital improvement plans, and landscape irrigation and tree removal permits, and technical documents for private developments.Complete inspections to ensure compliance with the land development codes relevant to tree preservation and landscaping regulations.Investigate complaints of alleged violations; facilitate actions to resolve concern, as appropriate.Meet with internal and external stakeholders to review and inspect final landscape and mitigation projects. Verify project meets established standards; provide notification of corrective action(s) required, if needed.Participate with internal and external stakeholders to review engineering and permitting plans, discuss landscape or tree mitigation issues, provide information and/or technical-level expertise on landscape and tree issues, and/or coordinate on a variety of information.Promote tree preservation and use of native plant species through development of educational programs and presentations.Create landscape and graphic design presentations and Citywide project reports for internal and external stakeholders, as needed.SUPERVISORY/BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIESNone.OTHER DUTIESPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
