Job Description
We are seeking a business-minded professional who is caring and compassionate to join our team as a Bachelor Social Worker. Reporting directly to the Clinical Coordinator, this position plays an integral role in the provision of clinical outpatient services.
Key Responsibilities
Promote a welcoming positive customer service culture for clients, staff, and other stakeholders.
Prepare group materials according to weekly group schedules.
Provide group facilitation, both didactic and process groups.
Complete documentation of all client participation in each group.
Assist with intake and orientation process with new clients when needed.
Carry a client caseload and complete documentation of services when needed.
Assist early recovery clients with their stabilization efforts.
Assist with providing case management assessments and related services.
Attend weekly clinical case conference and supervision meetings.
Maintain confidentiality pertaining to clients and client records that meet 42 CFR and HIPAA regulations.
Acquire and maintain all CEU, Adult CPR/First Aid, supplemental training, etc. as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in social work (required)
A license (LLBSW or LBSW) to practice social work in the State of Michigan (preferred)
Certification as an alcohol and drug counselor by the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals or the ability to obtain a CADC development plan upon hire
Ability to conduct didactic and/or process groups
Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
Competency with Microsoft Office Suite
Comfortable working with electronic health records
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Valid driver’s license
Ability to meet Federal, State, and local criminal clearance requirements
