We are a growing BIM/VDC consulting firm specializing in Mechanical and Plumbing modeling, coordination, clash detection, shop drawings, and construction support services for commercial, healthcare, institutional, industrial, and multi-family projects nationwide.
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing & Mechanical Revit Modeler to join our team and support the development of high-quality construction models and fabrication-level shop drawings.
Position Summary
The Plumbing & Mechanical Revit Modeler will be responsible for developing detailed Revit models of plumbing and mechanical systems, participating in BIM coordination, resolving clashes, and producing installation and fabrication drawings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MEP construction, Revit modeling standards, and coordination workflows.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain detailed Revit models for plumbing and mechanical systems.
- Develop fabrication-ready and installation-level shop drawings.
- Coordinate with project managers, BIM coordinators, engineers, contractors, and field personnel.
- Participate in clash detection and coordination meetings.
- Review construction documents and identify conflicts, missing information, and constructability concerns.
- Produce sleeve layouts, penetration drawings, and installation details as required.
- Maintain company BIM standards and modeling procedures.
- Assist with model quality control and project deliverables.
- Support project teams through various design and construction phases.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 3 years of Revit MEP modeling experience.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
- Strong understanding of plumbing and/or HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
- Experience creating shop drawings from coordinated models.
- Knowledge of BIM coordination workflows.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred
- 5+ years of MEP BIM experience.
- Experience with Navisworks Manage.
- Knowledge of fabrication and installation workflows.
- Experience with healthcare, commercial, industrial, or multi-family projects.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
- Understanding of field installation practices and construction sequencing.
