I'm looking for a creative 3D Motion Graphics & Graphic Design Intern to join my company, askcaptainscott.com, an Online Aviation Flight Training Company. This paid internship offers hands-on experience creating high-quality visuals for aviation education, flight and weather simulation. You’ll work with real-world aviation topics while building your portfolio in 3D animation, motion graphics, and graphic design. $25/hour, flexible hours.
Responsibilities
- Create compelling 3D motion graphics, aircraft animations, and visual effects for YouTube videos, social media, and other content.
- Design eye-catching 2D graphics, thumbnails, lower thirds, and branding elements.
- Assist with video editing, compositing, color grading, and post-production using tools like Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and 3D software (Blender, Cinema 4D, etc.).
- Help develop animated explainers for flight procedures, aircraft systems, and aviation concepts.
- Collaborate directly with the creator (Captain Scott) on creative concepts and deliver assets on time.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas to improve our visual storytelling.
- Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a program in Graphic Design, Animation, Motion Graphics, Digital Media, or a related field (or strong self-taught portfolio).
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop) and at least one 3D tool (Blender preferred).
- Passion for aviation, flying, or flight simulation is a big plus!
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to take feedback and iterate quickly.
- Portfolio showing motion graphics or 3D work (required — please include link in application).
