Responsibilities
- Assist experienced plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings
- Use hand tools, power tools, and plumbing assembly equipment to complete tasks efficiently and safely
- Support pipe threading, cutting, and fitting activities according to technical drawings and schematics
- Conduct drain cleaning using specialized tools and plumbing inspection cameras to identify issues
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and local building codes to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation to job sites while adhering to safety protocols
- Help with remodeling projects by performing carpentry, handyman tasks, and system upgrades as needed
- Participate in plumbing system inspections and routine maintenance to ensure optimal water systems performance
Qualifications
- Construction site experience or hands-on construction experience preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in plumbing systems and HVAC components
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading, and schematics is advantageous
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service when interacting with clients or team members
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate a company vehicle safely; commercial driving experience is a plus
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations
