We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and attentive individual to provide high-quality personal support to clients in a respectful and dignified manner. In this role, you will help promote comfort, safety, independence, and overall well-being while assisting with daily living activities and routine care needs.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Provide support with mobility, transfers, positioning, and safe ambulation as needed.
- Help with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and monitoring hydration and nutrition.
- Support light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and respectful communication to encourage client comfort and engagement.
- Remind clients to take medications as directed, following established guidelines and care plans.
- Observe and document changes in client condition, behavior, or needs, and report concerns promptly.
- Follow care instructions, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements at all times.
- Assist with errands, appointments, and other daily tasks as assigned.
- Previous experience in personal care, home care, caregiving, or a similar support role preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully.
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and committed to providing person-centered support.
- Ability to follow care plans, safety protocols, and instructions accurately.
- Physical ability to assist with mobility, lifting, standing, and other routine care tasks as required.
- Basic understanding of hygiene, safety, and infection control practices.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience supporting older adults, individuals with disabilities, or clients recovering from illness or injury.
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced or changing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to client needs.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and work collaboratively with family members and care teams.
