Job Summary:
Are you a hardworking general laborer looking for a unique opportunity in the world of custom tree house construction? Tree Top Builders in Exton, PA has immediate openings.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical outdoor work, have basic carpentry or construction experience, and want to grow their skills while supporting a specialized build team. We design and build custom tree houses for clients across the country and will train the right candidate. Travel is a regular part of this position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor and support tasks on construction sites
- Assist carpenters and crew with basic building tasks Use hand tools and power tools for simple construction duties
- Handle groundwork, site prep, cleanup, and material movement
- Work from ladders, scaffolding, and elevated surfaces as needed
- Maintain a professional attitude with clients, vendors, and co‑workers Perform other duties as instructed
- Perform other duties as instructed
Qualifications:
- Some basic carpentry experience required (e.g., using a saw, drill, or measuring tools).
- Comfortable using power tools, hand tools, and basic measuring devices.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
- Must be able to travel for weeks at a time (company provides hotel, per diem, and mileage reimbursement).
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs., perform physical labor, and work on uneven terrain.
- Must have basic personal hand tools; company provides specialized tools and equipment.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions year‑round.
- Must live within a reasonable distance of the West Chester, PA area or be willing to relocate.
Physical Requirements:
- MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL
- Perform tasks for all aspects of a construction project including lifting to 150 lbs., climbing a ladder/tree, standing, stooping, reaching and working in various weather conditions.
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
