Photo Digitization / Scanning Specialist (Part-Time) Photo Archivers | Columbia, MD | In-person | $20–23/hour
Photo Archivers helps families and small businesses organize, digitize, and preserve their photo collections using archival best practices — no traditional scanners, we shoot everything on with high resolution cameras and a copy stand. We're a small, close-knit team looking for someone with real photography skills who wants meaningful work and to grow with us long-term.
What you'll do:
- Digitize prints, negatives, slides, and other materials via copy stand photography
- Post-process images in Adobe Lightroom (editing, cropping, metadata)
- Help prep and organize printed photo collections for digitization
- Manage client files and project tracking in ClickUp
- Collaborate closely with a small team on day-to-day workflow
What we're looking for:
- Solid photography skills — comfortable with manual camera settings, aperture, lighting
- Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom required
- Experience working on a team; strong attention to detail
- Comfortable with Mac OS and basic tech troubleshooting
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable standing/sitting for extended periods, and working in low light for copy stand work
Schedule: 21–30 hrs/week, 3 consecutive days Monday–Friday, 9 AM–4 PM (extra days possible) Note: No health benefits or PTO at this time; schedule flexibility offered instead.
This is in-person only — all client materials stay on-site in our Columbia, MD studio.

Experience:
- Adobe Lightroom Classic: 1 year (Preferred)
