At Voices of Hope, we believe recovery is possible for everyone. We're looking for a passionate, organized, and compassionate leader to oversee our Recovery Housing Program and help individuals build stable, healthy, and meaningful lives in recovery.
As our Recovery House Program Manager, you'll lead a dedicated team, support residents on their recovery journey, oversee daily operations, and ensure our recovery homes remain safe, welcoming, and recovery-focused. This is more than a management position, it's an opportunity to make a lasting impact on individuals, families, and our community.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
- Lead and supervise Recovery House staff, supervisors, and house monitors.
- Provide guidance and support to residents through quality programming and individualized recovery planning.
- Oversee admissions, resident services, and case coordination.
- Ensure documentation, reporting, and databases are accurate and compliant.
- Develop staff schedules and maintain appropriate program coverage.
- Coordinate community partnerships, volunteer opportunities, and resident activities.
- Monitor budgets, supplies, facility needs, and program performance.
- Maintain compliance with MCCOR, MDRN, and organizational standards.
- Foster a positive, trauma-informed culture for residents, staff, and volunteers.
- Represent Voices of Hope at community meetings, leadership meetings, and public events.
- Continuously evaluate and improve program quality and resident outcomes.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is:
- A strong leader with previous supervisory or program management experience.
- Passionate about recovery and serving others.
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable making decisions, solving problems, and leading by example.
- Committed to trauma-informed, person-centered care.
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous leadership or management experience.
- Recovery Coach Academy training or will obtain within 6 months.
- Valid driver's license.
- CPRS certification (or ability to obtain within six months).
- Registered Peer Supervisor (RPS) certification (or ability to obtain within six months).
- Narcan Train-the-Trainer certification or willingness to obtain.
- Knowledge of overdose prevention and response(or willing to obtain within one month).
- Preferred but not required - Minimum of 2 years of continuous recovery and actively engaged in personal recovery

Work Environment
This position is based primarily in Elkton, Maryland, supporting multiple recovery house locations. Some evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required to meet program needs. The role includes both office work and community engagement and may require walking, standing, and working outdoors during events.
