SRS Fleet Services is recruiting professional independent contractor medical couriers to support healthcare, laboratory, pharmacy, and medical logistics clients throughout Georgia.
We're seeking dependable drivers who understand the importance of professionalism, confidentiality, accuracy, and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver medical specimens, laboratory materials, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and healthcare supplies as assigned.
- Follow all client handling and chain-of-custody procedures.
- Use mobile applications to scan deliveries and obtain proof of delivery.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Communicate with dispatch throughout assigned routes.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable vehicle.
- Current vehicle registration.
- Current automobile insurance.
- Smartphone (Android or iPhone).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to meet client-specific onboarding requirements.
Medical Route Requirements
Applicants selected for medical courier assignments must be willing to:
- Pass a criminal background check when required by the client.
- Complete HIPAA training.
- Complete OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens training.
- Complete any additional client-required compliance training.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.
Applicants who already possess HIPAA and Bloodborne Pathogens certificates are encouraged to apply.

Availability
We are recruiting drivers available for:
- Monday through Friday
- Weekends
- Early morning routes
- Afternoon routes
- Evening routes
- On-call opportunities
Weekend availability is highly preferred.

This is an Independent Contractor (1099) position. Medical assignments are based on client contracts, qualifications, successful completion of required onboarding, and compliance requirements.

For medical courier assignments, additional documentation may be required after acceptance into the onboarding process.
Become part of the SRS Medical Courier Network™ and help deliver critical healthcare services throughout Georgia.
- Safely operate box trucks or similar vehicles to deliver medical supplies, specimens, and equipment to designated healthcare facilities and laboratories.
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts while adhering to safe lifting practices and weight handling regulations.
- Plan efficient routes using GPS or route maps to optimize delivery times and maintain schedule adherence.
- Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients upon delivery, answering questions, and confirming receipt of shipments.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, manual handling, and moving items within the workplace environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with warehouse experience or commercial driving background.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or vehicles with manual transmission is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and weight handling in the workplace to ensure safe transportation practices.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently while following proper manual handling procedures.
- Familiarity with route driving, moving cargo within warehouses or facilities, and using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities.
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics roles involving load & unload activities is advantageous.

Pay: $1,907.14 - $2,296.77 per week
