Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Manager to lead the daily operations of a high-performing outpatient cosmetic surgical facility in Oklahoma City. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing clinical, operational, financial, and regulatory functions to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proven background in ASC operations, regulatory compliance, and team development, with the ability to partner effectively with physicians and clinical staff to drive excellence in patient outcomes
Duties
- Oversee all aspects of ASC operations, including clinical workflows, administrative functions, and patient services to ensure seamless daily functioning.
- Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, and cost control to optimize center profitability while maintaining high standards of care.
- Supervise medical and administrative staff, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team environment.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA privacy standards, JCAHO accreditation requirements, and OSHA safety protocols.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to facilitate efficient scheduling, patient flow, and surgical procedures.
- Oversee medical records management utilizing EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
- Implement policies for utilization management and managed care contracts to maximize reimbursement and resource utilization.
- Maintain inventory control for surgical supplies and equipment using systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix to ensure readiness while minimizing waste.
Skills
- Proven experience in healthcare management within outpatient surgical or medical office settings.
- Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial analysis, and cost containment strategies.
- Supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams in clinical or administrative environments.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with Eaglesoft or Dentrix is advantageous.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, and medical records management practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Background in medical office management with experience in acute care or hospital environments preferred.
- Strong human resources capabilities including staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
