Job Description:

Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance and inspections on machines, equipment, and installations, following scheduled plans and/or area requests.

Assemble, adapt, and modify mechanical equipment designs for presses according to project specifications, aiming to increase speed and efficiency in the production process.

Occasionally paint machine installations and components to maintain organization, safety, and cleanliness of the area, as well as to mark frequently used parts.

Build and assemble supports to adapt or replace the equipment’s support bases.

Assemble and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure proper equipment operation.
-
Install, revamp, and assemble equipment and machines, as well as test their functionality to ensure continuity of the production process.

Inspect, monitor, and calibrate parts, components, and equipment daily to trace and prevent downtime and breakdowns.

Replace or top up oil in hydraulic units (centralinas) when necessary to ensure the equipment's lifespan and prevent wear and failures. Assist in root cause corrective action and maintenance support activities in accordance with business and internal regulations

Inspect die, by doing autonomous maintenance through performing welding, grinding, operating cranes, machining, and fabrication

Make adjustments that are consistent with internal quality to troubleshoot die performance in the stamping press to resolve or enhance formability issues
- Perform die modifications for surface quality and accuracy
Assist in root cause corrective action and maintenance support activities in accordance with business and internal regulations
Other Responsibilities:

Participate in various levels of internal and external audits.

Make continuous improvement efforts through Kaizen's work philosophy to minimize problems and increase solutions regarding the plant equipment and systems.
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- High School
-
Desired Education – Technician or higher degree (Technician in Electronics / Electrotechnical / Mechanical or Mechatronics / Automation or Mechatronics)

1-3 years working in Industrial Mechanics
- Previous experience working with computers, Fanuc Robotics, and in a production environment that demonstrates the ability to learn multiple tasks is preferred.

Excellent record of attendance (willing to work overtime as needed)

For training purposes, will start 8 AM-4 PM

Ability to perform visual inspections, mechanical measurements, and calibration verifications (micrometers, calipers, etc.)

Summary:
This role is a direct report to the on-site Maintenance & Production Manager. Are you interested in metal transportation & die maintenance? Do you enjoy handling multiple tasks and working in a team environment? Junior Tool & Die workers will work with metal products using hand methods to inspect and maintain the standards of the die, keeping it to the highest standard for production. If any issues arise, they will refer to their supervisor with any outstanding inquiries to improve workflow. Skills validation & employee evaluations can be completed every six months to evaluate knowledge and ensure that standards and safety regulations are observed.
