Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including prepping ingredients for cooks and chefs.
- Help buss tables and clear away used dishes during peak service times to ensure efficient workflow.
- Support catering events by ensuring all serving equipment is clean and ready for use.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
