Duties
- Assist senior stylists with haircuts, styling, coloring, and treatments while gaining practical experience in salon procedures
- Learn to operate salon software systems for appointment scheduling and client management
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering questions, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Support retail sales efforts through product recommendations and upselling techniques for hair care and retail items
- Maintain salon sanitation standards by cleaning tools, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to health regulations
- Help manage front desk responsibilities including client check-in/out, appointment confirmations, and store management tasks
Requirements
- Passion for the beauty industry with a desire to learn diverse styling techniques
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients and team members
- Willingness to learn sanitation practices and maintain high hygiene standards in all services performed
- Knowledge of hair care products, color theory, and styling tools
- Valid cosmetology license
