Job Description
Midwest Center for Women's Healthcare is hiring a full-time RN for phone triage for our busy 9 physician OB/GYN practice. We have two locations Arlington Heights and Hoffman Estates. This ideal candidate will have a passion for women's health, excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as experience working within an EMR system.
Responsibilities:
- Telephone triage
- Direct patient care
- Administering injections/some phlebotomy
- Communicate in effective and timely manner with providers and patients
- Thoroughly document communication in patients' electronic medical record
- Transmit, on behalf of the providers, electronic lab orders and ordered prescriptions, prior authorizations
- Assist with in-office procedures, minor office surgeries
- Working within EMR to track patient results, follow-up with testing, and communicating with patients both verbally and in writing.
- Other related work as required
Requirements:
- Travel to both office locations
- Excellent time management and critical thinking skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Compassion for patients and colleagues
- Valid Illinois RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Prior triage experience in Ob/Gyn preferred
When needed the flexibility to do clinical support duties, taking vitals, and document management in EMR.
