Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a line cook In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation and providing support in our day to day operations. If you have experience in the food service industry and are passionate about delivering high-quality meals, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of the head chef or Managers
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of food items
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen equipment
- Collaborate with the owner/team to ensure meals are prepared on time and meet specific dietary requirements
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices
- Assist with catering events or special functions as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
-Advancement to Kitchen Manager for the right candidate
