Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to evaluate clients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique goals and medical conditions
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility to promote independence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—including speech therapists, physical therapists, and physicians —to ensure cohesive care strategies
- Document clinical progress accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems and maintain detailed medical documentation
- Provide education and training to clients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and adaptive strategies
Skills
- Proven experience in occupational therapy assessments in a pediatric setting
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and evidence-based practice principles
- Skilled in developing effective treatment plans that incorporate client-centered goals and measurable outcomes
- Expertise in assisting with ADLs and implementing occupational therapy programs tailored for individuals with disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders
- Ability to manage case loads efficiently while maintaining high standards of clinical documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Excellent client communication skills to foster trust and motivate clients throughout their rehabilitation journey
- Experience working with students with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems for accurate documentation and reporting
- Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy techniques including early intervention strategies and/or working with children in school environments

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
