Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on powersports vehicles using specialized tools and electrical testing equipment to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and overhaul engines, suspensions, brakes, electrical systems, and mechanical components to restore optimal vehicle performance.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire replacements, brake adjustments, and assembly of new parts or accessories.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and heavy lifting techniques to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Inspect vehicles thoroughly before returning them to customers, ensuring all safety standards are met or exceeded.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each vehicle serviced.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering maintenance advice to enhance vehicle longevity.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or service technician background specializing in powersports vehicles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing engines, suspension systems, brakes, electrical diagnostics, and welding.
- Familiarity with engine system repair and diagnostics using industry-standard tools and software.
- Experience working with all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), motorcycles, or similar recreational vehicles is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- troubleshooting for vehicle wiring systems is a plus.
- MUST BE CERTIFIED. VERY IMPORTANT. CLEAN, ORGANIZED, AND RELIABLE.
