About the Role:
As a Lead Preschool Teacher at Beanstalk Academy, you will have the opportunity to work with our experienced and dedicated team to provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate early childhood education program to our students. You will be responsible for planning and leading classroom instruction, engaging with families, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Structure a learning environment that promotes child health and safety
- Plan and lead classroom instruction that is developmentally appropriate and meets the needs of children
- Actively engage with families to ensure parents/caregivers are knowledgeable about the child’s program
- Implement a developmentally appropriate daily schedule, including the incorporation of transitions and age-appropriate opportunities
- Create a safe, warm, and nurturing environment for students that is conducive to learning
- Support implementation of behavior plans and/or IFSP/IEP goals, as appropriate
Requirements:
- NYS Teaching Certification B-2 or Equivalent
- BA in ECE (Early Childhood Education) and currently pursuing MA/Teacher certification - Study Plan Eligible –
