Join Our Patient-Focused Rheumatology Team
Virginia Rheumatology Clinic is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Certified or Registered Medical Assistant to join our specialty practice. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

Schedule
- Monday–Friday, Wednesdays off
- 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- No evenings, weekends, or holidays
Primary Responsibilities
- Room and triage patients
- Telephone triage and patient communication
- Medication management and prescription assistance
- Administer IM injections
- Patient education
- Assist physicians with examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Coordinate patient care and follow-up
- Support daily clinical operations while maintaining an organized workflow
Qualifications
- Current Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Previous physician office experience preferred
- Experience with electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks experience is a plus)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Friendly, compassionate, and patient-centered approach
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
