Cannabis Extraction Lab Technician

About the Role
We are a licensed cannabis extraction and processing facility looking for a full-time Lab Technician to join our production team. You'll work hands-on in the lab running daily production, refining and packaging products, and helping keep the facility clean, organized, and compliant. We're looking for someone with cannabis industry experience who is reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work.
What You'll Do
- Assist with daily extraction and production batches
- Operate extraction equipment, vacuum ovens, and other lab tools
- Process and refine extracts, including decarboxylation and terpene infusion
- Fill vape cartridges and assemble finished products
- Accurately weigh, label, and package products
- Enter and track inventory in METRC (the state tracking system)
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain lab equipment and work areas
- Follow all standard operating procedures and safety protocols
- Keep accurate batch and production records
What We're Looking For
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a Maine OCP Individual Identification Card (IIC) and Registry Identification Card (RIC)
- Cannabis industry experience required
- METRC experience preferred but not required
- Able to follow written procedures precisely
- Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic
- Reliable and dependable for a full-time schedule
- Comfortable working with solvents and lab equipment (training provided)
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable wearing required protective equipment in a lab environment
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
