Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained, including guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
- Manage floor care duties such as stripping, waxing, and polishing floors as needed.
- Follow established housekeeping procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure guest satisfaction and uphold hospitality standards.
Skills
- Experience in custodial or industrial cleaning preferred.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices within hotel or hospitality environments is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and thoroughly.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and staff professionally.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that require standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights.
