Position Overview
The Clinical Therapist is responsible for providing high-quality outpatient mental health services to individuals, families, and groups. This role includes assessing client needs, developing effective treatment plans, and supporting clients in reaching their therapeutic goals while maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and ongoing evaluations
- Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual, didactic, and group counseling services
- Complete all required clinical documentation and paperwork in a timely manner
- Collaborate with clients to set and achieve meaningful treatment goals
- Provide services to diverse populations and cultural backgrounds
- We provide:
- Substance use disorder services
- Services for all ages- children, adolescents and adults
- Psychological testing (if applicable and credentialed)
Qualifications
- Valid license to practice in the State of Michigan (required prior to start date)
- We will consider: LP, LLP, LMSW, LPC, LLMSW, LLPC, TLLP, LMFT
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and independently
- Personable, professional, and client-centered approach
- Comfortable working with diverse clientele and cultural backgrounds
- Commitment to ethical practice, teamwork, and continuous learning
