Director, Clinical Homecare Team
Carolina Caring is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to serve as the Director, Clinical Homecare Team in Gaston County. In this leadership role, you will provide clinical oversight, mentorship, and operational management for our hospice homecare staff, ensuring the delivery of exceptional, patient-centered care throughout our communities.
The Director is responsible for overseeing staffing, clinical supervision, employee development, and regulatory compliance while promoting high standards of quality, safety, and compassionate care. This leader works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the clinical appropriateness of services, support patients and their caregivers, and maintain the financial integrity and operational excellence of the homecare program.
Schedule:
This is a full-time, salaried position working Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing – Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Current, unrestricted North Carolina nursing license required. Current, unrestricted North Carolina nursing license required. Must maintain CPR certification.
Experience:
A minimum of two to ten years of nursing experience preferred. Hospice or home health experience preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises all clinical field staff, either directly or through subordinate managers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
