The Cedars is looking for full-time & part-time Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) to join our team!
Required Education:
-
Registered with the state of Kansas as a Certified Nurse Aide and/or Medication Aide

High School diploma or GED equivalent
Required Experience:
-
Experience providing direct care and assistance to residents in a healthcare setting
-
Experience complying with state regulations in healthcare
-
Experience assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
-
Experience maintaining a clean and safe environment
-
Experience with light housekeeping, food service, and laundry (preferred)
Required Skills and Abilities:

Ability to lift, pull, or carry 50 pounds

Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, and staff

Strong interpersonal skills and compassion for working with elderly or disabled individuals

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Ability to maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor

Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle emergencies effectively

Knowledge of basic infection control principles and practices

Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency protocols

Ability to document care accurately and timely

Must be authorized to work in the United States

Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminals back ground check.
Offered compensation: $18.50/hr
