Our asset portfolio is comprised of multi-family and mixed-use properties that we develop, design, construct, and manage. We have enjoyed rapid growth with our asset portfolio more than doubling in recent years due to our niche focus of offering affordable luxury living in underserved markets. Currently, Blackstone 360 owns 800+ multifamily units and 40K+ SF of commercial space. with a pipeline of another 300+ multifamily units under ownership in the early development stages.
Role Description
We are looking for a diligent, detail oriented, and knowledgeable Multifamily Property Management Accountant to join our team and smoothly manage the back office/accounting functions for our multifamily portfolio. As the Multifamily Property Management Accountant, primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
· Post all rent charges, parking charges, amenity fees, utility fees, late fees, pet fees, etc… and receipts.
· Post all rent increases as leases renew.
· Maintain complete and accurate digital lease files for all tenants.
· Input new tenant move-ins, and process move-outs w/ security deposit refunds.
· Post all vendor invoices and process checks for payment.
· Monthly reconciliation and posting of all mortgage statements.
· Monthly reconciliation and posting of all bank statements.
· Prepare and issue annual 1099 to applicable vendors.
· Bi-weekly payroll processing through Paychex.
· Prepare documentation for annual Financial Statement Audit for each property.
· Track all reimbursement payments to employees and employee loans.
· Send late rent payment notices to delinquent tenants, send eviction documentation to landlord/tenant attorney, and prepare credit reporting file at the end of the month.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will display most of the following qualifications:
· Associate’s Degree or higher, preferably in accounting.
· At least three years of overall experience, with at least a one year in multifamily property management accounting.
· Experience managing general ledger functions, and the month-end/year end close process.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong triage and time management skills.
· Experience using Yardi, Rent Manager, and/or AppFolio.
Job Type: Full-Time, In Person
Salary: $75,000 Annually
