A-1 Locksmith & Security Center provides a total entry solution for our clients — commercial locksmithing, access control, ADA operators, and door replacements. We work with property managers, schools, churches, and local government to make sure they can secure their properties and trust the people protecting their entries. We're not the cheapest option in town, and that's on purpose — our clients hire us for the outcome, not the price tag.

The Role
No trade background required. We're building our team through a paid apprenticeship, and there are three paths — tell us which sounds like you, or we'll help you figure it out:
- Field Locksmith Apprentice — On-site work: lockouts, rekeys, hardware installs. Fast-paced and customer-facing.
- Shop Locksmith Apprentice — Bench work: key cutting, cylinder and hardware prep. Detail-focused, steady, counter service and inbound call fielding.
- Security Systems Technician Apprentice — Access control and electronic security installs. Careful, methodical, precision-driven.
What We're Looking For
- Someone who shows up, follows through, and takes ownership of their work
- Comfortable figuring things out without someone walking you through every step
- Able to take feedback and adjust
- Trustworthy — you'll have access to spaces, keys, or codes that aren't yours
Pay
Starting at $17/hr, with a bump to $20/hr once you complete A-1's apprentice qualification.
