715 Restaurant is a busy local spot focused on fresh ingredients, handmade pastas, and thoughtful hospitality. We are seeking a dependable and organized Prep Cook to join our kitchen team and help set the foundation for successful service every day.
Position Summary
The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients, organizing stations, and supporting the kitchen team through efficient production and attention to detail. This position works primarily during daytime hours and plays a critical role in ensuring the line is ready for lunch and dinner service.
Responsibilities
· Prepare vegetables, proteins, sauces, dressings, stocks, and other ingredients according to recipes and specifications
· Portion and label products accurately
· Assist with fresh pasta production and other scratch-made items
· Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
· Receive and properly store deliveries
· Follow food safety and sanitation standards
· Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow kitchen team members
· Complete daily prep lists efficiently and accurately
· Assist with light line cooking and other kitchen duties as needed
Qualifications
· Previous kitchen or food preparation experience
· Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the shift
· Strong attention to detail and consistency
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
· Positive attitude and strong work ethic
· Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
