We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assembling our high-quality products, ensuring they meet our strict standards and tight tolerances. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a high level of manual dexterity, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Assembler, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Assembling parts and subassemblies according to blueprints and specifications, ensuring strict adherence to tight tolerances.
2. Using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as jigs and fixtures, to assemble components.
3. Installing brackets, hinges, and other hardware using appropriate tools and techniques.
4. Operating rivet machines and other equipment to join parts together.
5. Inspecting and testing assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
6. Identifying and reporting any issues or defects in the assembly process or finished product.
7. Maintaining a clean and safe work area, following all company policies and procedures related to safety and cleanliness.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Assembler position, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience working with tight tolerances, brackets, hinges, subassemblies, assembly, jigs, fixtures, blueprints, hand tools, power tools, and rivet.
3. Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
4. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
5. The ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
8. A commitment to safety and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
9. High school diploma or equivalent. A certificate or diploma in a relevant field will be considered an asset.
