Our well established boutique law firm located in the Southpark area of Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced real estate paralegal. We are experiencing growth and are seeking a high performing, positive and ethical professional to join our legal team. We are looking for a long term team player who is organized and pays attention to details. Communication with clients, lenders, brokers and attorneys is a must. Sometimes working outside of normal business hours is required. Competitive salary and benefits package offered.
Required Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in residential real estate closings.
- Proficient in Softpro, ProTrust, Rynoh software, Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Possess effective interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal direction provided.
- Conducting research that is pertinent to real estate closings.
- Preparation of the HUD-1 and Closing Disclosure.
- Knowledge of reviewing contracts, ordering title and surveys.
- Scheduling and managing calendars.
- Preferred Experience:
- Paralegal certification
- Residential Real Estate
