Monarch Investment is actively HIRING an Apartment Maintenance Technician at Acadian Point Apartments in Lafayette, LA. This is a full-time and permanent role with a comprehensive benefits package and quarterly bonus structure.
- Must have valid drivers license for this role, be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
PAY: $17-19 an hour
$100/week on-call bonus, up to $3,000+ a year in quarterly bonuses and $500 a year in tool reimbursement
SCHEDULE: M-F 8-5 on-call (1x every 4th week)

DAY TO DAY DUTIES:
-
Completes work orders in a timely manner based on priority
-
Make Ready / Turning apartments in between resident occupancy
-
Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
-
Maintaining property grounds
-
Preventative maintenance
-
Maintain and keep a clean and organized maintenance shop and other work areas

Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members
EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
General knowledge of HVAC and EPA certification preferred
-
6+ months’ experience in maintenance or equivalent
-
Some dry walling experience including painting and carpentry

Basic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
-
Have good verbal and written communication

Experience with pools, CPO certification preferred

Be able to provide great customer service to our residents

Be willing to go through basic training within 30/days
A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview.
