About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant
(PTA) to join our growing team. In this role, you will work alongside a licensed
Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care that helps residents
improve mobility, increase strength, restore function, and maintain their independence.
Responsibilities
Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist and according to the established plan of care.
Deliver therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, and mobility interventions to help residents achieve their functional goals.
Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Accurately complete documentation and treatment notes using an electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Educate residents and caregivers on home exercise programs, fall prevention, and safety strategies
Collaborate with Physical Therapists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
Maintain a full-caseload while providing compassionate, high-quality therapy services
Qualifications
Current State Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License
Current CPR/BLS Certification
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
Previous experience in geriatrics, home health, assisted living, or skilled nursing is preferred but not required
