**Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our private school community. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing a high-quality educational experience for young children, fostering a love for learning, and supporting their social and emotional development. Our Early Childhood Teachers will be responsible for teaching and guiding children from preschool to kindergarten levels, ensuring they are well-prepared for future academic success.
**Duties:**
- Implement engaging lesson plans, tailored to meet the unique needs and abilities of each child.
- Regular health and safety checks, and must be organized in having children's routines observed throughout the day and ensuring each child's schedule is followed
- Teach and facilitate learning experiences in a play based learning environment
- Manage the classroom environment, maintaining a positive and respectful atmosphere that encourages active learning and creativity.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
- Engage in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education and staying current with curriculum developments.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred, HS Diploma required
- Experience teaching in a preschool/ infant classsroom setting
- Proven ability to implement engaging lesson plans, utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and resources.
- Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive and productive learning environment.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- The ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues, and to build strong relationships with all members of the school community.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.25 per hour
