Job Description:
The position of CNC operator is responsible for, but not limited to, the efficient operation of CNC machining equipment used to fabricate the product. The operation of multiple machines at a time will be required, and proficient employee’s will be operating 3 or more machines at once. Other duties may be assigned as needed. This is a full time position.
Responsibilities:
- Pull sheets of material from inventory
- Load sheets onto CNC machine
- Execute the proper program on the machine
- Inspect the finished work
- Relay job progress and completion to the plant
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CNC or machine operation experience is preferred but not required
- Must be competent in basic machine operation
- Must have good organizational and communication skills
- Must be able to follow basic diagram type instructions
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift at least 2 sheets of material at a time, each weighing up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to use basic hand tools
