HoneySalt Bakery is looking for a hands on Packaging Manager to lead our packaging department. This is not a position where you'll spend the day sitting behind a desk. As our Packaging Manager, you'll oversee a team of 3 to 6 employees while ensuring every HoneySalt product is packaged accurately, safely, and ready for delivery to our customers.

What You'll Do
As Packaging Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Leading the daily operations of our packaging department.
- Working alongside your team throughout the day.
- Creating daily packaging schedules.
- Supervising, coaching, and developing a team of 3 to 6 employees.
- Ensuring customer orders are packaged accurately and shipped on time.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy and freezer organization.
- Overseeing product rotation using FIFO.
- Monitoring packaging equipment and coordinating repairs when needed.
- Ensuring products meet HoneySalt's quality standards before they leave the facility.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Participating in hiring, onboarding, and employee development.
- Identifying ways to improve efficiency and organization.

Bakery or food manufacturing experience is helpful, but not required. We're more interested in finding an exceptional leader who is eager to learn.
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer environments.
- Able to safely operate commercial packaging equipment.
Schedule
- Full Time
- Sunday through Thursday
- Typical hours are 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 4:00 PM, depending on production needs.
Compensation & Benefits
- $20.00 to $25.00 per hour equivalent salary, depending on experience.

Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to remove all jewelry, nail polish, and artificial nails while working, in accordance with food safety standards
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
