We currently have an opening for a Full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). The licensed assistant functions as an integral part of the rehabilitation team and has responsibility for evaluating and treating patients requiring services associated with rehabilitation.
Education Requirements
Candidate must have: graduated from an accredited occupational therapy assistant (AOTA) program and successful completion of National Board of Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT); current state OTA license Iowa and South Dakota; possibly Nebraska.
Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills, knowledge of rehab and medical terminology, ability to work in a fast-paced clinic. Traveling may be required.
Responsibilities
The licensed assistant functions as an integral part of the rehabilitation team and has responsibility for evaluating and treating patients requiring services associated with rehabilitation. The assistant is expected to communicate with the therapist regarding the patient’s treatment and progress and deliver service in collaboration with the policies and procedures governing the delivery of patient care by the Therapy Department.
Work Hours
Full-Time: Monday-Friday
