Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional check-in/check-out service while verifying reservations and processing payments accurately.
- Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, responding promptly to guest inquiries and routing calls efficiently.
- Handle guest requests and resolve issues swiftly to ensure maximum guest satisfaction, demonstrating strong guest relations skills.
- Conduct night audit procedures by reconciling daily financial transactions, updating reports, and ensuring all accounts are accurate for the next day’s operations.
- Maintain security by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting visual inspections of the property, and controlling access to the hotel premises during overnight hours.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping, and preparing reports related to guest services and hotel operations.
- Support hotel management by coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery in a resort or hotel environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations with a focus on front desk or night audit functions.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse guests from around the world.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and a passion for guest satisfaction.
- Excellent phone etiquette skills combined with experience operating multi-line phone systems.
- Knowledge of hotel management software systems and basic accounting or financial reconciliation practices.
- Ability to handle guest relations professionally while maintaining confidentiality and security protocols.
